The Apollo x16D is a versatile audio interface designed for live sound venues and networked recording studios. It offers elite-class Apollo X sound quality and real-time UAD plug-in processing via Thunderbolt and Dante connectivity. With 16 channels of Dante I/O and HEXA core DSP, it provides the world's most powerful system for running over 200 UAD plug-ins in real-time, including those from Neve, SSL, and Auto-Tune, as well as classic LA-2A and 1176 compressors.

The Apollo x16D features a powerful digital mixing engine that allows control over inputs, outputs, and plug-in routing, making it easy to build and manage your mix and effects chains in real-time. Plug-in settings can be quickly recalled over MIDI without interrupting the performance. You can link up to four x16Ds to create a 64-channel Dante system with network redundancy, or expand your current Thunderbolt Apollo studio over Dante for low-latency and scalable audio networking.

After live performances, the Apollo x16D transitions seamlessly to the studio, serving as an all-in-one monitoring hub for mixing formats up to 9.1.6. This enables the creation of 16-channel immersive audio mixes for Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, Sony 360 Reality Audio, and other formats, making it an ideal solution for both live sound processing and advanced studio recording.

Apollo x16D Ultimate edition includes suite of over 100 UAD plug-ins right out of the box. Build your mix with classic Teletronix LA-2A and 1176 compressors, Pultec EQs, and Neve channel strips to modern favourites such as Auto-Tune, Avalon and more.
